Middle of the Night

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

Baby, do you ever think about me in the middle of the night,

When he's holding you tight?

'Cause Baby, I've been lonely and I wonder if you're ever lonely too,

Are you ever feeling blue?

Cause baby I'm so lonely in this world all by myself

My love is for you only, I don't want nobody else.

Baby, do you ever think about me in the middle of the night?

Baby, when he gives you love does he give love the way that I loved you?

Tell me, is he ever cruel?

'Cause you know that I loved you like no other could love you ever again.

So love me like you did back then.

Cause baby I'm so lonely in this world all by myself

My love is for you only, I don't want nobody else.

Baby, do you ever think about me in the middle of the night?

words and music by Zac Wilkerson & Red Shahan © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

Mama she's working in the kitchen, but the pantry done run dry.

Thinking 'bout all those mouths to feed, and Mama just up and cry.

Daddy he's working in the field all day, but he can't get the whip to crack.

The man from the bank calling on the telephone said "I want my money back!"

We got them Poor Man Blues

Everybody got the Poor Man Blues

Whole world knows the Poor Man Blues

You can't do nothing about the Poor Man Blues

Good God, help me now!

Brother he up and robbed the liquor store, sheriff said he can't go back to town no more.

Gonna join the U.S.M.C. gonna fight the rich man's "Woah, now now now..."

Sister she been skimming off of Mama's pills and she's wishing she could sell what's left.

There's man downtown in a shiny black car got a debt he won't forget.

We got them Poor Man Blues

Everybody got the Poor Man Blues

Whole world knows the Poor Man Blues

You can't do nothing about the Poor Man Blues

Good God, help me now!

I'm out traveling town to town just trying to pay my dues.

I got a new guitar and beat up car.

It's a fast track for the Poor Man Blues,

I got 'em!

We got them Poor Man Blues

Everybody got the Poor Man Blues

Whole world knows the Poor Man Blues

You don't know nothing about the Poor Man Blues

Good God, help me now!

Long As I Don't Lose You

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

I might lose my mind today. Probably lose my temper, too.

I might lose my way every once in a while but I always find my way back to you.

I might lose my faith in man, lose my religion a time or two.

I might lose my peace of mind, but I don't need it long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

I've lost money on a bet, I've lost pride on a dare.

I lost my nerve on the chapel steps one time. I've lost fights cause I fought fair.

I lost touch with a few old friends. I've lost touch with reality.

I lost my shirt in a poker game in Shawnee Oklahoma one time.

But losing won't ever stop me.

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Baby I was born to lose. I've come to terms and I know it's true.

But if I lost everything I wouldn't need a thing

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Long as I don't lose you.

Pieces

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

Those memories have come again to haunt me.

They found their way back after all this time.

The smile you wear it only serves to taunt me.

Reminds me of the wrong I didn't right.

But please please let go of the pieces of me you still hold.

Please please there is someone else who needs them more.

I won't blame you for the scars you gave me,

Or the ones I gave myself went I went mad.

But you have every earthly right to blame me

For all the open wounds that you still have.

But please please let go of the pieces of me you still hold.

Please please there is someone else who needs them more.

Four Lane Highway

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

This four lane highway's a double edged blade.

It can bring me home to you, it can take me far away.

But the miles and time they add up either way.

This four lane highway's a double edged blade.

My knuckles white on a steering wheel tonight.

Hope the people like our sound, hope the venue treats us right.

'Cause I'm out here giving this thing my best try.

My knuckles white on a steering wheel tonight.

Baby be good while I'm gone.

When I can You know I'll come home.

Don't cry too many tears while I'm away.

This four lane highway's a double edged blade.

Now I'm counting down the miles til I get home.

'Cause I hate the thought of you waking up alone.

So I'm flying down this lonely black top road.

Counting down the miles til I get home.

Baby be good while I'm gone.

When I can You know I'll come home.

Don't cry too many tears while I'm away.

This four lane highway's a double edged blade.

Lonely Together Tonight

music by Zac Wilkerson. words by Zac Wilkerson and Courtney Patton © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

Alone turns into lonely

If you're alone for very long.

Oh and lonely will kill you slowly,

If you're lonely and you stay all on your own.

What's the use in being lonely?

Baby just give up the fight.

All you gotta do is hold me.

We'll be lonely together tonight

Let's be lonely, together tonight

Well the dark brings out your demons

And the silence will stir your soul.

You look forever for some kind of healing.

Ain't no use in finding it alone.

What's the use in being lonely?

Baby just give up the fight.

All you gotta do is hold me.

We'll be lonely together tonight

Let's be lonely, together tonight

Muddy Waters

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

She was just a baby on about nine years old

First time she heard that music on her Mama's radio

She started moving and a grooving

It hit her deep down in her soul

And ever since she found that Delta sound she can't feel her blues no more

Ah but Papa up and left 'em one hot summer night

In a storm of screams and cusses and the smell of cheap red wine

But when Mama get too lonely Baby know just what to do

She pull out that record player and they'd dance away their blues

They let ol' Muddy Waters carry their blues away

They let ol' Muddy Waters carry their blues away

One day Mama met a dark haired man with a fifty dollar suit

Got a gold tooth in his greasy smile got a razor in his boot

He'd take Mama dancing Baby stayed all alone

But she'd pull out that record player and do some dancing of her own

One night Mama came home fifteen shade of purple black and blue

That dark haired man he's a coward and that's when Baby knew

She ever saw his face again it'd be the last damn time

Mama cried herself to sleep that night baby fall out to 'Ramblin' Mind'

They let ol' Muddy Waters carry their blues away

They let ol' Muddy Waters carry their blues away

Next day that dark haired man came knocking loud on Mama's door

Mama said "Go away you fool I don't want you anymore."

But he puts his hands on Mama and he flashed that golden tooth

Baby knocked it out with a frying pan and pulled the razor from his boot

Baby done killed that man yes she did

Well the sheriff never came calling no judge ever gave a damn

Turns out no one's gonna miss a dark haired coward man

Baby dragged him to the river where it runs wide and slow

Put him face down in the water and they let that fool go

They let that Muddy Water carry their blues away

They let that Muddy Water carry their blues away

They let that Muddy Water carry their blues away

They let that Muddy Water carry their blues away

Love Rescued Me

words and music by Zac Wilkerson. © 2014 ZeeDubya Music

When I'm in the valley when my body's weak

When life's chains are shackled upon my feet

I will fear no evil death has lost its sting

Love falls all around me

Love rescues me

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Love falls all around me

Love rescues me

I was a wounded beggar I was an orphaned son

I was a weary wanderer so far from home

I was filthy garment I was a leprous man

But I fell into love's water

Now I'm clean again

Hallelujah Hallelujah

I fell into loves water

Now I'm clean again

And when my life is over and I toil no more

And I stand on the banks of love's golden shore

I'm gonna cross that river and I will run for home

And love will run to meet me and call me his own

Hallelujah Hallelujah

Love runs to meet me

Calls me his own
